Day 1: Ice-climbing instruction
Especially in ice, there are many pitfalls that you should be aware of if you wish to climb the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Alps. We will instruct you how to walk with crampons and steep ice climbing, we will show you belaying methods, practice a crevasse rescue and introduce you to diverse techniques in rope-handling. Thus you will be thoroughly prepared for the summit routes ahead.
Start: around 8:00 a.m.

Day 2: Allalinhorn (4027m)
Today you will climb your first four-thousand-metre peak! The ascent takes us past imposing crevasses up to the Feejoch. Soon you will be standing on the summit, where a magnificent panorama of the Mischabel Chain, the Monte Rosa Massif and the Matterhorn awaits you.
Ascent: 500m
Duration: 4-5 hours
Start: around 8:00 a.m.

Day 3: Breithorn (4164m)
In the early morning we leave with the taxi to the famous spa resort of Zermatt. The cable car takes us up to the Klein Matterhorn (3880 metres), where we start our tour. The ascent is somewhat less technically demanding than on Allalinhorn. But after the two previous intensive days, the ascent of the Breithorn with its breathtaking backdrop is a crowning conclusion.
Ascent: 300m
Duration: 3-4 hours
Start: around 6:30 a.m.
