Start: 8.15 a.m.

Starting at the Mittelallalin (3500m.a.s.l.) mountain station the route will take us over an extensive ice field of crevasses to the Feejoch. Just before reaching the Feejoch, the slope become more steep. This is the moment, where we have to put the crampons on the skis. After a few kick-turns, this part is masterd.

Due to the conditions, we keep continuing with the skis to the summit or we swop the skis with the normal crampons to arrive to the peak. Another hour and a stunning view to Mont-Blanc, Matterhorn and Piz Bernina is awaiting us. The descent is short but the impressions will last for a long time.

‚ÄčThe winter tour to Allalinhorn is not recommended for ski touring beginners as you have to be able to handle steep parts with crampons on the skis. The descent passes among big crevasses, so a safe riding in all snow conditions is essential!
